The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, invites scholarship applications for the 2025/2026 academic year under the Transforming African Agricultural Universities to Meaningfully Contribute to Africa’s Growth and Development (TAGDev 2.0) Programme at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
About TAGDev 2.0
TAGDev 2.0 is a 10-year programme (2023-2033) designed to strengthen universities and TVET institutions in Africa, equipping young Africans with skills to drive inclusive, equitable, and climate-resilient transformation in agriculture and agrifood systems. The programme supports economically disadvantaged but academically competent students to access university education.

Admission Requirements
Undergraduate Admission Requirements
WASSCE/SSSCE: Credit passes in six (6) subjects (including English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science), plus three (3) relevant electives.
GCE Advanced Level: Five (5) credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level, including English and Mathematics, plus three (3) passes at Advanced Level.
International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum Grade 4 at Higher Level in three (3) relevant subjects.
Mature Applicants: Must be 25 years or older and have relevant secondary school qualifications. Those without the required passes must take an entrance examination.
Diploma Holders: Entry at Level 200 or 300, depending on the assessment of the diploma/certificate.
Postgraduate Admission Requirements
MPhil in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology: Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
MPhil in Agricultural Extension: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
MPhil in Aquaculture & Crop Science: Applicants must possess a Second-Class Lower Division or better from a recognized university.
Foreign Students: Must provide evidence of qualifications equivalent to Ghana’s educational standards.
