At Refugee Youth Changemakers (RYCM), we believe in the power of peer-led learning and community-driven solutions. Our facilitators are the heartbeat of our programs—mentoring, guiding, and equipping refugee youth with the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
Whether you’re an educator, mentor, activist, or student passionate about youth empowerment, you can join our mission to nurture young leaders from refugee backgrounds across Africa.
As a facilitator, you will:
Lead sessions in digital skills, life skills, podcasting, or entrepreneurship
Inspire hope and resilience through mentorship and storytelling
Connect with youth in refugee communities and amplify their potential
Co-create safe, inclusive learning spaces with a youth-centered approach
Receive training and resources to enhance your impact
We welcome facilitators who are:
Passionate about refugee empowerment and youth leadership
Fluent in English, French, or local languages (Kinyarwanda, Swahili, Kirundi, etc.)
Comfortable working in both virtual and in-person settings
Committed to inclusion, empathy, and volunteerism
Prior experience in teaching, training, or community organizing is an added advantage—but not a requirement.
Please fillout the application below and our team shall get in touch with about the onboarding sessions.
