At Refugee Youth Changemakers (RYCM), volunteers are the driving force behind our vision to empower, educate, and uplift young people affected by displacement. Whether you’re a student, professional, artist, or advocate, there’s a place for you in our community.
By volunteering with us, you become part of a growing movement of changemakers committed to creating meaningful opportunities for refugee youth to learn, lead, and thrive.
Volunteering at RYCM means using your time and skills to:
Support education and mentorship programs in refugee camps and host communities
Facilitate workshops, podcast sessions, or digital literacy training
Help coordinate events, summits, and outreach activities
Contribute to content creation, storytelling, and advocacy efforts
Strengthen operations, fundraising, or communications behind the scenes
Whether you’re available for a few hours a week or looking for a deeper commitment, your contribution makes a real impact.
We welcome individuals who are:
Passionate about refugee rights, youth empowerment, or social justice
Open-minded, compassionate, and committed to equity
Based in Africa or able to support remotely from anywhere in the world
Skilled in areas such as education, media, communications, IT, research, or youth work
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and serve with humility.
Send us an email at info@refugeeycm.org and one of our team shall get back to you.
